It was fantastic! Wonderful movie! Great for the whole fam! Funny thing is, I have never seen Treasure Island... Was that good?

I watched the film on Youtube. It was fairly enjoyable.

If John Wayne and Chuck Norris got into a fight, John Wayne would probably win.

It was just on the Moxie tv channel. They tend to re-run movies over and over, so you could probably catch it in a few days. Funniest moment: Newton as LJS giving a pirate eulogy, ending with "Amen!"--which comes out "Arrrggh-men!" No kidding!

i had seen two versions of treasure island (the charlton heston and jack palance ones), and i happened to have this on a catcom home video double feature, so i was looking forward to compare yet another, but while the dvd side says "treasure island", as the movie opens i noticed it was actually titled "return", and the opening credits looked like a cartoon.

flowers grow on the prison wall,
look up at the stars at night,
gonna take a flight,
to a planet near identical to this,
with lakes, fields, farms and fish,
some by gone loved ones i might meet,
up in the universe dark,
but where the prison walls are soft.
