Sheree North

I had seen Sheree North as a guest star on TV dramas during the 60's and 70's for years. Imagine my surprise when I saw this movie and saw her in that big dance number with Jerry Lewis and about 40 other dancers. I had no idea the lady's career went back this far and had no idea she could dance. I've seen interviews with her and learned that she was well acquainted with Marilyn Monroe and she said that whenever producers and directors were having trouble with Marilyn on the set of a particular film, they would threaten her back to the set by saying they would hire Sheree to replace her. A wonderful actress who has led a fascinating life.
