Why has no one mentioned 'Nothing Sacred' (1937)?

This is exactly like the Carole Lombard/Fredric March movie 'Nothing Sacred' (1937). Her last name was Flagg and the reporter's name was Wally. Story was identical. They're obviously based on the same book or play or whatever.
