Jerry's Dancing...

...is GREAT! Manic like we expect it to be from such a crazy, amazing comic, but dead-on. His EARLY (childhood) years in vaudeville taught him well.

Dare I say... We KNOW he's a comic genius, but Jerry's dancing is absolutely underrated! :-)

He was the Major Talent of the Group because of this. Mr Lewis in the early years of his Labor Day Telathon use to do Tap Dance Bits with Sammy Davis Jr. and the like. Mr Lewis is a great talent and this movie is a great show case.

Absolutely! I could see the differences in their dancing even by the way Jerry moves his head, for example... his head turns to the direction of his kicks - simple stuff like that. He was much more polished and 'showy' in his performances.

I just finished reading "Dean and Me: A Love Story." Wonderful book and I wish Jerry would write another - more focused on his work after the break-up. But it gave me a real appreciation for his relationship with Dean Martin -

I'd never seen "Living it Up" before yesterday on TCM, and "The Caddy" a few days ago. SO much fun! I've always enjoyed Jerry's solo movies immensely, but will now look to expand more into the Martin-Lewis films as well. The affection was/is so apparent.

I know!! I honestly think he's one of the greatest dancers of all time!

Jerry's dancing is great, as you say, but everyone in the scene lets it rip. The choreographers will often tell dancers that they want to see lots of energy. Well there is enough energy here to recharge a ipad in 5 minutes.

Love that!! SO true!!
