An Awful AWFUL Movie
This is the second movie in as many days by the director W. Lee Wilder that i've seen. The previous film I viewed was 'The Phantom from Space', but this one was worse. I've never heard of Wilder before theese two travesties but Ed Wood has company. Wood gets all the glory, but how Wilder never rivaled Woods endearing incompetence in the public mind is a mystery. Maybe becuase the two films, and Wilder in particular, plays it straight while Wood was pure camp. Killers from Space is too dull to be funny or campy. When a movie that is terrible without the camp value it's just a waste of time. This movie did have Peter Graves in it, I can only imagine how awful it would have been if he wasn't.
