Those were great. I've never heard of the first woman. She has an amazing voice. Peggy Lee of course is great as always.

I thought that your post was some bad joke about one of my top ten favourite movies. And I was thinking that until a third of the first song.

Than, I DID FEEL THEM, shivers up my spine.

Thank you.

First link is to a jazz orchestra version and an Italian lyrical singer, Giuseppina Romeo, aka Giuni Russo (stage name), which I consider a fabulous, innovative rendition of the movie's musical theme.

Second link is to the movie's musical theme, re-enacted for some television show in 1954, by Peggy Lee - the same singer who sings it on the movie's soundtrack. (Remember that TV shows were cast live back then.)
