Sacred Mushroom Edition

Anyone out there know the difference between the original version of Inauguration and the supposed "Sacred Mushroom Edition"? It is mentioned here:

i think it has something to do with the soundtrack. SM edition features ELO's el dorado album as the soundtrack.

actually, it seems that the ELO version might be a third recreation. wiki says it was made in 1978, 4 years after the album came out. Sm edition came out in 66 or something. so that cant be it...oh well

the 'el dorado' version is the only on i'd ever seen @ hallwalls gallery in buffalo, ny in the early 80's.

The "El Dorado" version? Well, that would certainly tend to skew one's opinion of the film!

A very good article on Mr. Anger's "Magick Lantern" series is found in The Equinox, Vol. III, No. 10.

On the commentary of this movie on the BFI DVD, Anger mentions a version of the film in the '60s where three different projections of the movie where displayed simultaneously (called `Polyvision'). Maybe this is what the Sacred Mushroom Edition is.

You probably won't even read this because I'm posting it three years later. :S
