I have this movie as a region free DVD.
The trouble is that it is in PAL format which means it is neither use nor ornament for half the folk living in North America.
So if someone can explain how to convert a PAL, region free version of Hobsons Choice into NTSC format I will be happy to send them a copy.
Bear in mind that I have only just mastered the pop up toaster, so any explaination has to be on the lines of "click here, then there".

Thre is a program called DVD Rip. If downloading it it will ask if you live in the US. Say no, regardless of where you actually live. Them use a commercial program that copies DVD. The ripping of it would keep the commercial program from telling you thier are copyright violations.

If you DO mean DVD and not a VHS tape cassette the easiest way is to HACK your DVD player.
There are a number of websites (Google "DVD hacks" to find them)that explain a very simple procedure just using your remote control and a series of pushes of buttons. It usually takes less than two minbutes and you have a DVD player that can play ANY DVD from anywhere in the world.
NB: The cheaper players ($30 or less in big box stores) are easiest to hack.
