I remember this rotten movie because back in 1987 it was the first film ever broadcast on New Zealand television in its original 3D. As I recall the cardboard 3D glasses could be picked up from Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets in the weeks leading up to the broadcast. (I think I still have mine somewhere!) Sadly, the movie was crappy, and everyone was disappointed with the 3D effects, which didn't translate well from big screen to small screen.
