Quick cross-country trip?

If one notices carefully, this short seems to take place in Los Angeles, as suggested by some local attractions (the Warner Theater and the Brown Derby Restaurant, the housing of the latter being worn by the baby on his head as he ambles down the street). But about 15 seconds later, when the stork locates the giant baby he is sleeping in the arm of the Statue of Liberty on Ellis Island in New York City.

So how did the baby get from the West Coast to the East Coast in practically the blink of an eye?

Go figure.
