4/10. Here's why:
It takes way too long for the title character in GOJIRA to appear. Instead, the movie focuses on very boring characters. But when he does show up... Good God! He’s terrifying! The special effects have aged well and having a social commentary about the nuclear holocaust doesn’t hurt.
