Good list, Monster Zero is a favorite of mine too. I can see you really liked the recent American Godzilla movie, I found it far too dark and the director kept cutting away from the monster vs monster action as if he was embarrassed by it. But it was a decent attempt at a serious Godzilla story.
shareI like Godzilla 2014 but I don't love it. It felt like they were borrowing from the late 60's/early 70's format of Godzilla movies; i.e. random Monster appears and Godzilla shows up half through the film to stop it and that's my least favorite era/format of Godzilla movies. I thought the film would focus more on the Big G himself and instead he felt like a side character in his own movie. However the effects and Godzilla's design are amazing and I hope they keep that design for Godzilla 2 in 2019!!!
