Back in 3D?

Couldn't "Gog" be "re-engineered" back into 3D? Much in the way that James Cameron's "Titanic" was re-issued to theaters in 3D?

reply

Only if someone can make money from it: "Titanic" is one of, if not the, world's most successful movies. Only about 12 people remember "GOG".
Converting movies into 3D is a lengthy, expensive job. It took 18 months to do "Titanic".

... greetings from the near future, guys. I bring good news!

It has not been necessary to spend a lot of money reconverting Gog back into 3D, its original 3-D has been preserved and carefully restored by the good folk of the 3-D Film Archive, and made available for blu-ray release!

To think that just a few years ago the very notion of seeing Gog in 3-D again was like a wild pipe dream.

I'm watching the 3D blu-ray right now, what a treat!

This is about my 10th viewing of GOG and it looks like a different film, so many details went unnoticed before.
