In reality, didn't Glenn never meet his daughter? On his page it talks as if she was adopted just shortly before he disappeared and he never had a chance to meet her. Yet in the movie they introduce her to the little boy as his new baby sister and Glenn is present at that time.

Absolutely not. I just watched and the scene where Mrs Miller introduced him to "your daughter". It was totally obvious she was adopted.
Wherever did you get that idea? I think you'd better watch the movie again - and stay awake this time.
