Does anyone know where in Mexico "Garden of Evil" was filmed? -and also, where to find that kind of info on other movies.

shareOutdoor sequences for the film were shot on location in Mexico, at "the colonial town" of Tepatzlan; the jungle areas alongside the Los Concheros River near Acapulco, Parícutin Mountain, which was surrounded by black volcanic sands; and the village of Guanajuato. Interior scenes were also shot at the Churubusco Studios in Mexico City.

That is the Paricutin volcano in the distance, the area of Michuacan, and the church surrounded by lava is real. The old village of San Juan was covered by an eruption years ago. Might have more, just some quick recollections from a mexican who lived around there once and told me about it.
