Just Love Jane!

My favorite role of hers is "Gentleman Prefer Blondes", but this is definitely up there, as well. Sings, dances, great comedienne and gorgeous! Have seen her interviewed on TCM and seems like a genuinelly nice person, as well.

This movie is definitely one of her five best films, she's terrific even if the movie itself is no great shakes. I also highly recommend the deluxe color soap FOXFIRE opposite Jeff Chandler and the PEYTON PLACEesque THE REVOLT OF MAMIE STOVER.

Thank you, HarlowMGM. Foxfire is wonderful. Will definitely look for The Revolt of Mamie Stover. Love her with Robert Mitchum (His Kind of Woman, Macao) and of course, in Gentleman Prefer Blondes.

which goes against how you'd think she is considering her siren, vixen, bombshell image.

I saw her in a documentary about Mitchum and she really seemed so nice and down to earth. I know she was a good friend of the family.
