Tried to like it

I love old movies and especially give Roger Corman films a chance, because most are so quirky and likeable. I had good hopes when it started. But this one is just so bad. Everything about it is bad. I have never really cared for Dorothy Malone and now I really don't. I can't ever watch John Ireland without thinking about how big his penis was (which is legendary in Hollywood) so that always distracts me about him. That aside, everything is unbelievable in the story including the many opportunities she had to escape. It's still on (TCM) so I guess I'll watch the end because I have nothing better to do right now...so disappointed.

Edit:
Ok, now I feel bad because the wonderful Roger Corman was on after the movie with Ben Mankiewicz talking about the film and what inspired him to make it. Sorry, Mr. Corman, it wasn't that bad for one of your first films, and for an AIP film. I also have to say that I recently read the autobiography of Sam Arkoff of American International Pictures, which TCM is highlighting tonight, and it was fascinating to learn stories of the low budget films which made AIP famous.
