Besides that the film is pretty good I would also like to point out that the sound is above average for a film of 1954.
I hear a stereo effect with depth and some lower notes that actually make my subwoofer work.
Perhaps it was mono reworked, early stereo or digitized. Now if they would just get one of the Western Channels in HD.

The film was made in 4-track analog Stereo on magnetic tracks.

Unfortunately, on Dailymotion the sound was poor.
