The boy says Christina gave him the sling, but he doesn't say when - maybe it was before her alleged death. Michel was checking her pulse and didn't he conclude she was dead? How did she fake that, at that time (no medicines available like in Saw, for example)?

The ending is left open for interpreting on purpose. Maybe the boy really saw her and she isn't dead, maybe he saw her ghost, maybe he IS lying this time (like many times before) and she is dead cause the detective got there too late. Some movies are simply more beautiful when they intrigue you even when they're over.

I think the trick is different:
She's alive and she made it all to have the diaboilque couple arrested.

Like I said - maybe. It's one of the possibilities. But how did she fake not having pulse when Michel was checking her? Maybe she found a way.

I think the point of the ending was showing the audience that it will never really know anything for certain (in a movie). After being messed with one time, the director wants to say that this doesn't mean you can now be sure it won't happen again. I see no point in discussing what really happened, because nothing really happened and they could've written any explanation for it, wether it's one where Christina is still alive or the boy is lying or the boy isn't lying but she is indeed dead, etc.
