Putting the glaring historical inaccuracies aside, I was pretty impressed with this film, better then the Robe I think.

Yeah, I rather liked it too. I tend to like movies about this time in history. There are a lot of inaccuracies and they take a lot of liberties but I still find most of them enjoyable. I'm not a big fan of Victor Mature but he was pretty good in this movie.
