Is this film noir?

While Dangerous Mission is from the right era, has gangsters and a female lead in danger,it doesn't seem to me to have the attributes of noir, especially the cinematography (unaesthetic), colour (intrusively inaccurate), acting (not especially menacing).

Did you just watch it, HairynosedWombat? It must have been a very exciting Saturday Matinee movie in 3D but lost a bit on the small box. I agree with most of the reviewers and that either they cut a lot of the scenes out of the movie or cutting costs. It was just one big picture for the tourist trade. No tension, silly wardrobe, how she managed to keep her shoes on let alone a hike up probably one of the States steepest mountains in the ice and snow??? They weren't exactly high heels but still. The avalanche scene and the forest fire: hold the hey ride for me while I go and stop this fire, be back in a couple of hours. He didn't say that but may as well. A fire like that would have take a lot longer to put out. I understand it was all for the 3D effect. Still a stronger plot and better direction would have made it more passable.

Film noir is not strictly restricted to a list of boxes to be checked off, including black-and-white cinematography. "Dangerous Mission" is not really film noir, but might be thought of as "noir-adjacent".
