The street scenes of early 1950s Los Angeles, in particular the street cars, the Pacific Electric Rail Station and Union Station. Didya notice Sunset Bl in Hollyweird, the still standing Crossroads of the World plaza? How about the Bekins storage bldg?

Getting off the Crime Wave subject a little bit.

If you want to see old Los Angeles check out Highway Patrol at 5am ET on Antenna TV. It was shot in location in the daylight.

I own the entire Hiway Patrol series on DVD, most of the scenes were suburban L A County, little of it was filmed on the city streets
