Lawd Have Mercy!

That scene between Steve Crochran and Anne Baxter after she takes that
shower is one of the most tasteful yet steamy, passionate "lust" scenes
I have ever seen! Steve Cochran was such a hottie! Definitely Tall, Dark and Handsome! I wonder what Anne Baxter must have been thinking playing opposite him. I would not have been able to just be an "actress" in that scene. I would have been on notice for sexual harassment after being that close to such a beautiful hunk of man. Talk about giving up the panties!!! That's a man that could truly "slow walk me down"!

Sadly enough, he was only 48 when he died.
So unfortunate for one of the Classic Hunks of the film noir era.
Anyone else out there a Steve Cochran Fan? HollerBack Yall!!

And he is also good in A SONG IS BORN with Danny Kaye and Virginia Mayo. He plays a louse in that one too. Does he ever play anything other than a louse?

reply

he wasnt really a louse in the desert song

Ann had just divorced the gorgeous John Hodiak in '53, so she knew her "tall, dark, and handsome". She must have enjoyed playing those love scenes with mmmmmmm Steve. Any girl with a pulse would have!
