Funniest Lines...

Honey,! My cup is dirty! So is your face my dear... but we can get a new cup! lol

This movie is camp to the MAX! It's hard to believe the same man directed this and "The Fly"....(which is a science fiction classic) I don't think I have ever seen such bad acting as Anne Baxter in this, it's almost comical...Yet somehow this film sticks with me... I think for it's sheer silliness...and really hard to believe even on a stretch story line...

Yes, that line stands out, indeed. One of the few lines that had "claws" in it, though.

Re Anne Baxter, I agree there too. Well, to me, she falls in the 'divine' category amongst some others hailing from Hollywood's golden age. She holds her own marvellously next to Bette Davis in All About Eve - and that is quite a test of acting chops. Here, however, she gives a distinct impression that she joined this project only to make sure the bills will be paid at the end of the month. It's not that she looked disinterested, but she never really "inhabited" the character. Bit disappointing. I still hold her in high regard though, having seen many of her other efforts. Also, other A-list actresses were sometimes just as guilty of underperforming. Elizabeth Taylor, for instance, looked downright bored in Beau Brummell, released the same year.
