Who is the singer in the opening minutes of Blackout (1954)
A black woman singing, I think, St. Louis Blues, in a nightclub when the two stars first meet. Does anyone know who the woman is singing, and what else she may have recorded?
shareShe's listed as Cleo Laine (uncredited) in the full cast and crew page. She had an extensive recording career. What you see of her here, in 1954, is very much in the early part of her singing career.
