Not too bad a film, but hardly noir.

It's definitely noir, the only difference is it
is in color and in CinemaScope, a noir historian does the commentary in the DVD release.

There was no such genre as "film noir" at the time, anyway. That's a label that film critics applied to a wide swath of 1940s/1950s movies years after the fact.
