A total 180 for Louis Calhern
Anybody remember seeing Louis Calhern in "Confidentially Connie" (1953)? He played a Texas cattle rancher, and was what you might call a "meat extremist" in that film - so big on eating meat that he essentially bought out an entire butcher shop. Whereas in this film, just a year later, he played a vegetarian, non-smoking health food-espousing nature and fitness nut. Now that's what I call a stark contrast!
Also interesting to note: Louis Calhern died in 1956, just two years after playing the health-conscious, vigorous 78 year-old man in "Athena." In reality, he was 61 when he died, from a sudden heart attack.
