my option about this film that when i saw this i wonderfull about this summery and actor that very very good to play in movie.i hope that a hollywood make this film again in future and saw it.from mehdi bahrami fron esfahan.iran

Remake would be good but this time use real "Indians" to play the "Indians". Now there's a thought.

remakes are a joke,but lancaster made no attempt to lose weght,speak in halting delivery..nothing..ditto with bronson.an insult to native americans or whatever we are supposed to refer to them as..but the scenery was heaven.
i am irish american.why is there not a Cauasian entertainment network.what a joke america is in2012.
all blacks,Caucasians everyone should leave and give it back to APACHES.

That would be the great Morris Ankrum who played so many generals that they named a character after him in Matinee. Very much in demand.

Robert Aldrich and Burt Lancaster did kind of remake the film 18 years later with Ulzanna's Raid. It's a pretty similar story though more realistic, with Burt this time taking the scout's role. IMO well worth a look and far better than Apache.🐭
