remakes are a joke,but lancaster made no attempt to lose weght,speak in halting delivery..nothing..ditto with bronson.an insult to native americans or whatever we are supposed to refer to them as..but the scenery was heaven.

shareRobert Aldrich and Burt Lancaster did kind of remake the film 18 years later with Ulzanna's Raid. It's a pretty similar story though more realistic, with Burt this time taking the scout's role. IMO well worth a look and far better than Apache.🐭
