Time was, you'd go into a store, see the History Channel version and the Mill Creek version and, if it was important to you, go for the more expensive one.

Thanks to Amazon's reviews though, we know the sound is all out of proportion on the History Channel one. I can confirm Mill Creek (which I paid $9.99 for, now it's $7.99) is just fine. It provides exactly what I'm looking for, the experience people had watching on TV nearly 60 years ago.
