I have the 39-episode collection, and was wondering what is the title of the episode about the missing wife who is found, with other dead wives, inside the steps of a staircase. That one was creepy!!

That would be "The Perfect Husband", I think.

'The Perfect Husband' is the one you mean. But the 'seven killed' includes one who 'ran off with another' and one who 'left him at the altar'. Who knows who the seven were? And the wife isn't missing - she is on the steps when Holmes finds them in the staircase.
