Discovered this charming series a year ago

I like most anything to do with Sherlock Holmes. When I discovered this black and white series I thought I'd give it a try. I really enjoy this series. I like Mr. Howard's portrayal of Sherlock. I really enjoy Howard Marion-Crawford's portrayal of Dr. Watson. He is an asset to Mr. Holmes, not like Nigel Bruce's portrayal. I know it's possible that the writers could have written Dr. Watson that way for Mr. Bruce but I find that Dr. Watson irritating the way the characters mumbles around, dropping clues, or is clueless as to what is going on. Then Mr. Rathbone's Sherlock is patting that Dr. Watson on the back saying, "Come along my dear Watson," while Watson is still muttering to myself. Good job Mr. Marion-Crawford.
