Have you ever listened to the old time radio shows of Lassie? I find it interesting that Lassie is a true actor in that she plays various canine parts. Well it IS radio after-all and you can use your minds eye to picture the dog she represents in each episode. Very interesting and fun!

shareIn the 1980s and 1990s I would listen to THOSE WERE THE DAYS. Host Chuck Schaeden would replay golden age radio programs and LASSIE was one of them. Each week she would portray a different breed of dog in a new story. Interesting.
shareInteresting. I listen to old time radio pretty much every night, but had no idea that Lassie was ever on the radio. Then again, none of the stations that I’ve ever listened to have ever played Little Orphan Annie, either.
