IT'S AMAZING THIS ISN'T ON DVD!!

All the classics shows that are on dvd,and this one isn't one of them??I understand it went twenty seasons,but at least they're putting out a good many of the seasons of Gunsmoke which lasted just as long.Wondering why this is being held back from DVD releases,after all,this has to be the king of television shows about a courageous animal.I wonder if people ever tried to contact the company that has thr rights to the show about getting it on dvd.I'm sure ther'es tons of lassie fans out there awaiting the arrival of it on dvd.And if it ever did come out on dvd someday it would help me with an episode i'm trying to remember cause all i remember is the images but not the title.I've tried posting several times about it on the board but no one has been able to help me.I hope I was accurate enough cause if i was'nt being able to actually check for the right episode on each season on a dvd would be my best bet.
