I've noticed this anomaly ever since I watched reruns of FKB as a kid, but have never heard any mention of it anywhere. During the opening theme, right after Jane Wyatt is announced, there's some weird hooting sound like an owl that goes on for several seconds. Has anyone else ever noticed this? Is it a glitch in the music track? It happens during every episode that I've ever seen. I always thought it sounded rather eerie for some reason.

shareIt's the sound of the kids giggling at the sight of their parents kissing. For some reason they kept the giggles even after it was changed from the kids watching them kiss.
shareYes!!!!! It's supposedly the kids giggling but you've got it right! It sounds like a bunch of owls hooting! I thought it sounded like chickens with colds because the clucking sounded raspy!
It's probably due to the age of the show and it didn't hold up as well as the shows themselves. Too bad and it always bugged me, even as far back as the mid-1970s. I remember it distinctly.
