1959 was a great year!

I was scrolling thru the episode lists which brought back memories of watching Zorro, Texas John Slaughter, the Swamp Fox and Moochie! Great times! Then I noticed that I didn't remember watching most of 1964's offerings nor did I recognize most of anything after that. I think once the Beatles hit, our TV was tuned to Ed Sullivan. Too bad Disney hasn't released full seasons on DVD.

I grew up in Anaheim and my family (Mom, Dad, and six kids) visited the park during the summer of 1959. That year the Monorail, the Matterhorn Bobsleds, and the Submarine Voyage all opened. Every night we could hear the fireworks. And on Sundays, we watched Disney`s show. 1959 was a great year!
