GOOF in Credits

Where should this Goof be submitted?

Michael Pate plays Clarence Leiter in this show, but the end credits misspell his character as "Letter".

I sent it in under Goofs - Continuity in 2011 but I guess it got rejected.

I think you are mistaken due to the poor resolution. The LEITER is over the cards and it is tough to differentiate the white card border from the letters.

But look how close the E is to the I and the I is to the T. There is not enough space for the I to have the top Horizontal line to make it a T.

In the end credits, right? This is the version shown on the Climax! series. They're shown rolling over a black background. I don't see any cards.

The two t's are lower case. the cross comes out both sides whereas the top of the i in Michael Pate has a half cross coming out the left side only and then the dot on top. Both have a foot on the right. The crossed t is clear enough even with the poor resolution.

You must have watched the incomplete version with no last reel and credits "recreated" There is an incomplete ending at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bBnVDj5SkA which matches your description of the credits

There is a more complete version at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztsXWp0nj2c which has the complete ending with 70 secs more material(with LeChiffre holding a razor blade to Valerie's neck), and having the Host talk for about 30 secs before the credits. This has the original credits for the TV show which were white letters shown over a Table with cards, a baccarat shoe, a bottle, and an ashtray with a cigarette. This has the name as I described previously.

Your goof is not a show goof, but a goof of the people trying to cover the lack of the ending and the original credits.

Thanks for including the links. I saw the difference. The one I originally watched was shown on EPIX3 on March 25th, 2013. Too bad they were showing the version with "recreated" credits. I noticed the abrupt change in appearance on the longer version when that last reel came on, too, but I'm sorry I had missed the complete ending with Peter Lorre getting back up. Interesting and thanks again.
