Lucky Bank Teller

Film was made in 1953. In a more 'up-to-date' (ie - cynical) film the bank teller Carol would have almost certainly faced the marauding hands of her captors. Luckily Mr. Binns was a gentleman.

BTW...seems Captain Barnaby got away with more than Dirty Harry. Must have been a muzzled press corps back then.

Good film though. All the interwoven plot pieces reminded me of an extended Dragnet episode. Plus all loose ends were tied up by Captain Barnaby's dinner hour. Loved it when EG Robinson simply told a subordinate "See ya' in the morning" after what to him was just another day's work. They made real Americans in those days. ;)
