Good time capsule--made 60 years ago

The opening rocks haven't changed much, despite sixty years surf pounding, as evidenced by Google Earth Street View.
Here's the Google Earth location:

Enter it in the search box in the upper left of Google Earth app window. Then zoom right down to Street View. The Hotel de la Plage is on rue Commandant Charcot (#37).

Google Earth Street View shows it has changed its look but the buildings are still there.
