Does anybody know if it still exists?
I live in Austria so France isn't that far away and I'd really have the balls to go over and visit the filming location...

The hotel does exist. It's been remodeled inside, but pretty much looks the same on the outside. There is also a pier/boardwalk next to the hotel with a bronze statue of Tati. Alas, the pipe was stolen off the statue. Here is a link.

Remember that that hotel was used for the exterior shots. The dining room and ballroom, and other interior locations were done in a film studio, Studios de Boulogne-Billancourt/SFP. I'm not sure if that studio is still in business or still at the address currently given by IMDb.
At the hotel location, the hotel building is still there, and it is a hotel named "Hotel de la Plage", as in the movie, now owned by Best Western Intl. Inc. The other buildings on the hotel side of the street, going down an incline, are still there. But the houses and buildings on the other side, including Martine's summer house, have been replaced by modern apartments.
