hello, macemace--

Sorry I didn't respond sooner--
Yes, when I saw your initial post, I voted for it.

For many years, I hoped that the Benchley shorts and the "Behind the 8-Ball" shorts would be made available on home video. Nothing ever appeared in the VHS days, but very recently the Warner Bros. Archive has made both series available on DVD-R (play-only DVDs, made on demand).

Now, I'm hoping that "Twonky" shows up there, too.

As you may already know, a film need not be (originally) a Warner Bros. release, to show up on the WB Archive 'on demand' DVD-R list.
Although the 63 "8 Ball" shorts were all WB releases, the Benchley shorts originated at Paramount and MGM.
In fact, the WB Archive is offering a small selection of (about 300) films from all corners of the Turner library, including many that were originally released by MGM, RKO, and United Artists.

I think the WB Archive may be where a "Twonky" DVD will actually surface.
Some folks will complain that these are not 'pressed' DVDs, but not me!
If "Twonky" is made available via that route, I will be first in line, cash in hand....
