One of the great gangster movies of all time with the underlying theme of loyalty, and "criminals outside the law must be honest".

Jean Gabin, one of the finest screen actors of all time, in one of his most timeless performances as he depicts the world-weariness of a thief who's trying to get out of the business, but does "one last heist" that of course, gets complicated.

If you are curious about this movie, just rent it. It's brilliant.
