Caveat emptor

A really great movie, but you must be careful when you buy a DVD. If money is no object, get the true Criterion. I kept looking at the Korean "Criterion" discs, but they don't have English subtitles (which I need).
If you have a region free DVD player, you have more options.
I still haven't decided what to buy (I saw it one night on TCM).
BTW, it is not well known, but apparently Criterion licensed their mastering materical to Korean producers (this is the way I understand it), who make their own discs with no extras, but subtitled in Korean, Japanese, and English. Same images, but half the price. But no English subtitles for "Grisbi". Go figure.
