Many people have mentioned a younger actress would have been better. While watching this film, it hit me that Ann Miller would have been great for this role. She was an excellent dancer, a good singer and she could be a good actress. This would have been a great vehicle for her
shareNo, no, no! This film should never have been made with any actress. Crawford should have stayed away from it. The script was terribly written and the musical numbers or songs were mostly salvaged from other musicals. How it got greenlit is a mystery but it did get made. Its awfulness has trancesnded time for future generations to ridicule.
