I just caught the end of this on TCM - again. I've been wanting to see the whole movie but it seems like it's on infrequently and I end up just missing it. I had read a Phil Silvers biography so I'd like to see this.

Funny thing, when I came to this site I was guessing it's rating would be a 6.3 and it was a 6.2, so that's pretty close.

One thing I noticed - It seemed like Phil Silvers toward the end was looking very tired. Like when he was doing the magician bit, around then. Or maybe it was part of the act. Or maybe since it was a play, it was filmed all in one go? Anybody know?

Just watched it and he didn't look that bad. TCM listed as 100 mins but was only 80 or so. Obviously the cut version. Enjoy watching Silvers in a burlesque/vaudeville show.
