So Dick Beymer is credited as being a "cinematographer" on this film.

Honestly, knowing that Monty Clift was gay and so is Beymer, I wouldn't be surprised if Clift insisted on Beymer being credited for something like this.

For that matter, I wouldn't be surprised if Clift and Beymer engaged in sexual relations - all of which were kept secret due to Beymer's age.

Call me "dirty," call me "sick," but considering how Disney's young male star Tommy Kirk caused problems for the studio because he was having an affair with local 16 year-old, I don't think a Clift-Beymer sexual affair is totally out of the question.
