A good 'could-have-been'

Finally, I've seen it. Actually, I've seen it twice. First time I didn't like it. Horrible Music, Montys accent, everything rushes so fast ( i know, i know about the cutting of Mr. Selznick)
But: i could have been a nice one. The story itself is quite good: go back to live with old husband as a boring housewife in Philadelphia or stay with a hot italian macho (that is so funny, but i think monty made it believable being an italo macho...) in Pisa.
I really liked the dialogue at the end on the train (I will alwyays be wandering "Is he well? What is he thinking? Is he in love? Is she beautiful?" and he relpies: "Yes, he's in love and yes she's beautiful"
The movie has its moments, but didn't use the opportunities. Pity!
