In the 1950s Warner Brothers had a standing set they used for big mansions, and they used it over and over and over again. I've seen it in about a dozen WB films. The part of this set most recognizable is the staircase used in Auntie Mame, 1958. It's the staircase that gets redecorated several times throughout the film just as Mame was re-inventing her life throughout the film. See many of these clips on YouTube...
