When Joel McCrea was star of the Month on TCM in May 2012, I watched many of his movies and even though this was his last non-western (filmed in England), I enjoyed it much more than for instance "Fort Massacre".
Did anybody watch "Shoot First". What do you think about it?

Kinda melodramatic, It was OK, worth a watch. Some say its British Noir. Sounds apt for me. I liked the scene in the train compartment w/ the brief case , the shade flys up at just the right moment,

TCM aired it in the early a.m. yesterday, but Tribune Media Services listed the running time as only one hour, so my TiVo DVR apparently recorded only the first two-thirds of the film. Bummer.
I contacted TCM and let them know what happened, and then asked them to air it again after giving the correct info to the listings services. I hope they do.
