was there a scene where a boulder is up on the mountain side, and it starts rolling towards the truck, and one of them gets out and runs up the slope and kicks the boulder out of the way, thus saving the truck? I remember seeing this and thinking no way could a guy kick a rolling huge boulder enough to divert it away from the truck.

After the controlled explosion the sides of the mountain where the men and trucks were, do get rained with small boulders, rocks and stones. And then near the end of the deluge there is one football-sized rock than rolls down the mountain face, but falls short of hitting the petrol can Mario put there earlier.
