Just watched the film earlier....I believe the year was 1947...would have to go back to the DVR for the month....
I assumed it was just a random date, so he could use a microfilm machine without raising suspicion.
I initially thought he asked for January 15th 1947, which isa the day the Black Dahlia was discovered murdered, in a vacant Los Angeles lot.
